Union County Environmental Health
The Union County Environmental Health Specialist/Sanitarian is committed to creating a safe environment for our county.
This department is concerned with the environmental quality of the community and the health and safety of the community and is responsible for enforcing local, state, and federal regulations that pertain to water, sewage disposal, and other public health issues.
It may also be placed in charge of collecting and analyzing samples to determine if a hazard to public health exists.
